Overview

WOBT is a registered not for profit Trust organization that is led by a Board of Trustees and a team of highly competent staff. There is also an Advisory Council that helps oversee the running of the organization. The Founding Trustees are Dr Divine Simbi-Ndhlukula who is also the Chairperson and Mrs Linda Longwe-Musesengwa.

Our Cause

WOBT primarily focuses on supporting the scaling of women enterprise through linkages with corporate and government supply chains to ensure more money goes into the hands of Women Owned Business members by enabling them to create wealth and prosperity of their communities as a practical solution to real sustainable women economic empowerment.

About WOBT

WOBT identifies, educates, registers and certifies women’s business enterprises (WBEs) that are at least 51% owned, managed and controlled by one or more women.

WOBT is a member-led, non-profit that brings motivated, large corporates, multilateral and government procurers together with qualified women-owned suppliers in and out of Zimbabwe. It works with Supplier Diversity and Inclusion (SDI) partners, with more than US$1 billion in annual purchasing power combined, that have committed to sourcing more products and services from women-owned businesses.

Dr Divine Simbi-Ndhlukula

Chairperson and Founding Trustee of WOBT

Dr Divine Simbi-Ndhlukula is the Chairperson and Founding Trustee of WOBT which she co-founded in 2019. She is a renowned businesswoman and philanthropist with a passion for women empowerment. One of Forbes Magazine’s most Influential Women in Africa, Dr Ndhlukula has received many awards for her business acumen and involvement in women economic empowerment. She has also served on the boards of public and private sector organizations.

Mrs Linda Longwe-Musesengwa

Founding Trustee of WOBT

Mrs Linda Longwe-Musesengwa is a Founding Trustee of WOBT, which she co-founded in 2019. An expert marketer and humanitarian, she is a Rotarian who sits on several boards and has won many entrepreneurial and service awards. She has a passion to change the narrative of Africa through empowering training, coaching and mentoring programmes that she facilitates.
